IDP IELTS always strives to make your experience as smooth as possible. Keeping this mind, we have taken another digital leap and simplified the process of your test date transfer and cancellation. Now you can transfer/cancel your test date online with just a few clicks.

Transfer/Rescheduling of IELTS Test Online:

• You can reschedule your IELTS test only if the test date is at least 9 days or more from the date on which you are applying for transfer.

• The candidate can request transfer by providing supporting documents which will be processed only upon approval of the request.

Cancellation of IELTS Test Online:

• Candidate can apply for cancellation only if the test date is at least 9 days or more from the date on which you are applying for cancellation.

• You can only request cancellation by providing supporting documents, which will be subject to approval and cancellation will be done once your request is approved.

• After cancellation is done/approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days after deducting administrative charges.

Transfer/Rescheduling of IELTS Test

• Requests to transfer the test date—whether postponement or preponement—must be submitted to the Centre at least 14 days prior to the original test date.

• The allocation of a new test date is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the Centre.

Cancellation of IELTS Test

• Candidates may apply for cancellation and refund either through the Candidate Login section or by submitting the Test Date Transfer & Cancellation/Refund Application Form to the Centre.

• If the request is received at least 14 days prior to the test date, 25% of the test fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount including applicable taxes will be refunded within 7 to 10 working days from the date of request.

• Detailed Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • More than 14 days before the test: 75% refund of the total test fee

  • Within 14 days but more than 2 days before the test: 50% refund of the total test fee

  • Within 2 days of the test date: 25% refund of the total test fee

  • On the test day or after the test: No refund will be issued.

Transfer/Rescheduling of IELTS Test Online (OSR & OSR-UKVI)

Candidates may raise a request to transfer their test date for One Skill Retake (OSR) and OSR-UKVI tests via the Candidate Login section. Please note the following conditions:

• Each OSR booking is eligible for only one transfer request.

• Requests to postpone or prepone a test must be submitted to the Centre at least 4 days prior to the original test date. In such cases, 25% of the test fee will be charged as a Test Date Transfer Fee.

• If the request is made less than 4 days before the test date, the Centre will cancel the test without issuing a refund.

• Allocation of the new test date is subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the Centre.

Cancellation of IELTS Test Online

Candidates may apply for cancellation and refund through the Candidate Login section.

• If the cancellation request is received at least 4 days prior to the test date, 25% of the test fee will be deducted as a processing charge. The remaining amount, inclusive of all applicable taxes, will be refunded within 7 to 10 working days from the date of application.

• For requests received less than 4 days prior to the test date, no refund will be issued.
